Joe Sjoberg Memorial Fund
The Roosevelt Drama community is deeply saddened by the tragic passing of 2006 graduate Joe Sjoberg.  Joe was the creator of Argyle Tuesday and an active RHS Theatre student/alum.  Joe enthusiastically embraced leading roles in Beauty and the Beast, Pageant, Too Darn Hot (Scotland Tour-Edinburgh Fringe Festival), Once Upon a Mattress and You're A Good Man Charlie Brown.  Other shows include the tap dancing 42nd Street, Musical Comedy Murders of 1942, Guys and Dolls and performances in several one-act plays.  Friend, brother and son, Joe went missing in Madison, WI in November.  His car and body were found in late March with a positive match made in April.

Joe will be immeasurably missed but of course, never forgotten. To honor Joe, his family has created a Joe Sjoberg Memorial Fund within two organizations that were most meaningful to him: Roosevelt Drama and Carleton College.  For the Roosevelt Drama Fund, Ruben Van Kempen and the Sjoberg family will finalize exactly how the funds will be used, but know they will be put to good use to honor and remember Joe for many years to come.

Donations will be accepted through December 31, 2011.
